Aktualisasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Tanwirul Sidoarjo Sebagai Pondasi Proses Belajar Mengajar Tahun Ajaran 2024-2025

Education is one of the foundations that a human being must pursue and carry out in his life. In the continuity of education, the curriculum is needed to represent the vision and mission promoted in that education. One of the curricula that is currently being used by various schools in Indonesia is the independent curriculum. The independent curriculum, as the name suggests, is a set of educational tools that give freedom to educators and students to express ideas, methods, procedures, and the process of studying a particular field of study. The independent curriculum provides unlimited movement for educators and students, as long as these movements are directed and have a positive impact. The need to actualize the independent curriculum for all educational institutions will increase the knowledge, maturity of understanding, and readiness of each educational institution to implement the independent curriculum. Actualization is an individual's process of developing one's potential to the maximum to achieve meaningful life goals. This article describes the actualization process carried out by educators towards other educators, especially in community service activities which are specifically carried out at Tanwirul Sidoarjo Middle School. Similar perceptions and equal knowledge of the independent curriculum will develop actualization abilities at Tanwirul Sidoarjo Middle School. The greater the actualization ability possessed by an educator, the greater the students' ability to understand the learning presented by the educator using the concepts promoted by the independent curriculum.
