Article Processing Charge
All articles published in JURNALISTRENDI: Journal of Linguistics, Literature, and Education are published as open access and are made immediately available online upon publication. This open-access model is supported through an Article Processing Charge (APC), which covers a range of publishing services provided by the journal.
The APC supports editorial and publishing services, including but not limited to: online submission and editorial management systems for editors, authors, and reviewers; peer-review management; manuscript editing; production and hosting; DOI registration; integration with abstracting and indexing services; and customer support.
Article Processing Charges
| Author Category | APC |
|---|---|
| Authors from Indonesia | IDR 600,000 |
| International Authors | USD 0 |
An APC is charged for all articles that have successfully passed the peer-review process and are accepted for publication. All APC payments made to JURNALISTRENDI are non-refundable under any circumstances.
JURNALISTRENDI waives the APC for articles whose first author is affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia. This waiver is granted automatically and does not require a separate application. The APC waiver does not apply to authors from Indonesia.
Payment Method
The journal accepts APC payments exclusively via bank transfer. Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author by email after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
All APC payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of subsequent withdrawal, retraction, or removal of the article.
Waiver Policy
JURNALISTRENDI is committed to promoting equitable access to scholarly publishing and does not wish publication fees to constitute an insurmountable barrier, particularly for authors from low- and middle-income countries.
In line with this commitment, the journal provides a full APC waiver for international authors, defined as manuscripts in which the first author is affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia. This waiver policy is subject to the terms and conditions outlined above and does not extend to authors affiliated with Indonesian institutions.
