Abstract

In the 21st era, learning requires students to have competencies that include the ability to think critically, think creatively, and the ability to solve problems. This ability is known as high-level thinking ability or HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill). The aim of this research is to describe the creativity of educators in developing students' critical thinking skills through practicing HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) standard questions with the help of Quizizz media. This research uses library research methods. Data collection was carried out by searching various literature review sources such as books, research results, journals, articles, etc. Research data was collected using note-taking techniques. Research data analysis was carried out in several stages; 1) reading process, 2) categorizing, and 3) analyzing information originating from relevant library sources. The results of this research show that the use of Quizizz media can create a fun, challenging and interactive learning atmosphere. HOTS standard learning helps improve students' intellectual abilities and educators' creativity. Overall, this research provides a conceptual understanding of how educators develop students' abilities through presenting HOTS questions with learning media that supports the achievement of learning objectives.
