Abstract

The novel Rapjali by Dee Lestari tells of Ping's life experience, who loved music and was raised by her grandfather until she had a successful career in music. This study aims to describe the personality of the character Ping using the psychoanalytic theory proposed by Sigmund Freud in the novel Rapijali by Dee Lestari. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, where the data to be analyzed and the results of the analysis are in the form of a description of the phenomenon and not in the form of numbers.
